Team Up Activities September 20, 2007

Stephanie

I'm thankful for my little baby girl, Virginia, who patiently suffered through my incredibly busy day today. Despite missing a feeding - I will have to work hard to “catch up” on the milk tomorrow – she was always quick with a smile.

I am a Master Coordinator earning over $200,000 a year.

3. What I’ve done? On Wednesday I had my first “practice” Opportunity presentation with a friend who is in the R&D business. She asked a lot of great questions that most people wouldn’t ask, but I felt good & I was happy with how I handled it – unusually relaxed. She was impressed with Shaklee’s quality control & some great seeds were planted for her to be a customer, but she is going to take some more work.

I was very busy today (Thursday) at our homeschool co-op. This is a great networking group and many of these ladies would be natural leaders – they just haven’t been discovered yet. I have an opportunity event scheduled for October 13 and I have already begun inviting the ladies and getting some responses. Tonight was my group conference call and we taught them how to strategize their monthly pv & activity to meet their goals. It was great! They are motivated and already seeing the fruit of their activity.

4. What I’ll be doing today? The plan is still the same; invite & set appointments. I find myself getting caught up in training mode and not very focused on my personal activity so my focus today is on my events in NJ. Also, I need to call through my members list and begin the process of finding more “converts” to the Gold Ambassador program. I have an appointment in the evening to do a “practice” Opportunity presentation. This is an old friend who will analyze it to death, but I am looking forward to it anyway. It is a great thing to do with those “hard sell” friends. I get the practice I need and they hear information that I probably wouldn’t have had the opportunity to tell them without the “can I practice on you” clause.

Mike and Becky

. We are thankful to celebrate the life of Mike O'Brien today! Happy Birthday!
2. We continue to attract people of character and influence who desire to make a difference in MANY others' lives all over the world, using the business as a vehicle.
3. Yesterday was great! Becky made several follow-up calls and is excited about a cashier she met at a clothing store on Tues. She is a licensed dietician and has heard great things about the company. Mike followed up on our clubhouse leads with promising results! Becky also spoke with some of you and other Sales Leaders who are out there making it happen! And then, last night, we attended a dinner with supporters of our son, Paul's trip to Africa. One of the team members and also one of his BAE co-workers walked up to me and said they wanted some products! One is pregnant and the other has allergies. Paul had shared what we do with them. So, I have two more customer appointments to schedule.
4. Today, we are leaving for our trip to Cape May. But, already, Mike went to an early morning networking meeting and sponsored a new member! We have five now, so just need to find our Gold Ambassador! I am a firm believer in staying in the game to the very end - many are won in the last few seconds of the game! Keep Going!
5. A big thing we have learned in Team Up is the value of a team to motivate us to work even harder. We would not ask you to do anything we are not already doing ourselves. We pushed ourselves to do the office talks, go to networking meetings, do the booth, call people, put together a huge Fall newsletter mailing, working hard and longer hours when we didn't feel like it sometimes, but it does produce results. We have talked to hundreds of people to get the few who make a difference. Those few are worth gold. Their lives will forever be changed because we persevered to talk to one more person, one more person, one more person. We know you are doing the same and it feels good.

REMEMBER TO CALL YOUR BUDDY BEFORE OUR CALL ON TUESDAY NIGHT!

I am thankful for my senses. I may not always enjoy what I hear, see, taste, smell or touch; but at least they are functioning an I thankful!

I succeed because I believe in what I'm doing and care about those I have opportunity to share what I believe. People see this and want more.

I continue to prepare for Saturday's Minerelles (a little each day keeps me focused and excited), mail out more profiles, try to make voice to voice contact with follow ups, and continue building!

I talked with voice to voice with one warm market yesterday. I am sharing the business with even telemarketers and the people I talk with to pay bills, etc! Who knows what may come of it!

Karen
Good Morning Team!
I am grateful for beautiful fall weather!

I am able to be a good listener for peoples needs so I may help them best!

Yesterday was another exciting day! I confirmed my B.O.appt. with Abduhl for tonight at 6:00. Spoke to another one of my sisters about the business. Invited Abduhl to Oct. 6 meeting, he seems very interested. Printed lots of literature for handouts.

Today I will be strong and focused to come across clear for my 1st (hopeful) Gold Ambassador! Pray for us and wish me luck! TEAM VISION POWER!!!!

2. I bring good things to those I meet

3. I had a very positive experience at the health fair yesterday. I engaged 25+ people and talked to them about Shaklee and all took literature and I received 9 leads (Those who said I could contact them). The weather was perfect, I had a perfect spot; all in all a very good day!
