Thanks Felicia - Great Story!

Hi. This was a very interesting message to come across today. Thanks Mike! The reason it was so interesting is that I was just having this conversation with my business builder, Cyndie, today. We were meeting to go over all of her activity she did while I was gone. We spoke about asking questions and how much more you can find out about people by building RAPPORT! Cyndie doesn't have any problems with that aspect of the company but even so I used this very recent personal example:

While in Scotland I had the pleasure of meeting my niece (who lives in New Zealand), Malissa's husband, O'Ryan who as you may recall is from Jamaica. My nephew, Andrew (who lives in Finland) brought his girlfriend with him. Olga is from Russia. What an international family I have!! Anyway, within a few hours I knew so much about O'Ryan and Olga and had already seen pictures of their homelands - Jamaica and Russia. I felt we had become fast friends and I loved hearing their accents and listening to their stories while learning about the countries they are from. This was the first time that my sister and her husband had met their new son-in-law and possible daughter-in-law also.

While driving in the car with my sister I was telling her some of the things I had learned about both of them and how very much I liked them both. She was rather surprised that I already knew so much about them and how she didn't really know anything yet. I didn't want to hurt her feelings but it dawned on me that she didn't know as much because she never asked any questions of them to get them engaged in conversation! I am sure this is a bit of a personality difference between Halina and me, however, I also think that it comes more naturally to me because of my training. I think that building rapport with others is the most fun and exciting part about the business. Most of us in this business get our energy from other people so we naturally generate rapport as we find it stimulating and motivating. It is a nice quality to either have or to learn through doing this type of business. It is a blessing!

I now have a few more places in this world I can visit............New Zealand, Jamaica, and Russia!

Take care!
Felicia
